About Our Schoolhouse
Open Doors Schoolhouse is a small, inclusive learning community, rooted in curiosity, connection, and creativity. Inspired by the charm of vintage one room schoolhouses and the freedom of modern homeschooling, we blend nature-based education, hands-on projects, and life skills into a flexible rhythm that honors every child and their families’ unique learning path.
Open Doors Schoolhouse is more than a co-op – it’s a community-rooted, family-focused, learning hub. Alongside our structured group programs, we also offer a flexible resource room and learning lounge – a welcoming space filled with hands-on centers, real-world tools, and homeschool centered resources.
Whether you’re an enrolled family deepening weekly projects or a curious homeschooler looking for a fresh location for learning, growth, and connection, our doors are open.
Drop in, stay awhile, and watch your child’s confidence, curiosity, and connection blossom.
Our Core Values
About Miss Courtney!
Hi friends! I’m Miss Courtney, the founder of Open Doors Schoolhouse. I’m a homeschooling mama with a background in early childhood development, special education, and community building — and I’ve long dreamed of creating a space where learning feels joyful, meaningful, and connected. A place where kids can grow through play, nature, and real-life experiences, and where families feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
Since beginning our own homeschool journey, I’ve come to believe that homeschooling is simply an extension of parenting — and that with the right time, tools, and support, every family can thrive.
Open Doors Schoolhouse is the heart of that dream. I can’t wait to welcome your family through our doors.
