At Open Doors Schoolhouse, we believe learning should be joyful, meaningful, and rooted in real-life experiences. Our programs offer children space to explore, create, connect with others, and grow through play, nature, and curiosity-led discovery.
βοΈ Open Doors Days of Summer
A fun, family-style summer series to build community and kick off our fall programming.
Join us for a fun, summer camp alternative, casual gathering where kids and caregivers can soak up the sunshine, friendships, and hands-on fun. These sessions will be a way to enjoy the season, create some memories, connect with others, and get a feel for the heart of Open Doors Schoolhouse.
Who it's for:
Homeschooling and like-minded families (all ages welcome!)
This is a non-drop-off program.
Caregivers stay and participate, relax nearby as kids engage with the activities and each other.

10:00 AM β 11:00AM
Dates: Wednesdays & Thursday
July: 2, 10, 16, 24, 30

Rye Township Community Park (unless otherwise communicated)

$15/family

Each session invites open-ended play, nature exploration, and a simple shared rhythm. You can expect:

π Fall Session
A modern one-room schoolhouse for curious minds and wild hearts.
Our Fall Session is a semester program that blends homeschool-style learning with a consistent weekly rhythm. We prioritize real-life skills, emotional literacy, creative expression, and nature-based academics in a multi-age, inclusive setting. Programming planned for ages 5-12, but all ages are welcome and will be included.

This is a non-drop-off program.
Caregivers stay and participate as kids engage with the activities and each other.
Schedule:
βοΈ Core βClassβ Wednesday: Guided instruction from 10am-12pm. Schoolhouse is open until 2pm for continued learning, use of the resource center, and community building.
π Enrichment Thursdays (Optional, but encouraged): Schoolhouse is open 10am-2pm for unguided extended learning time, use of the resource center, and community building.

$345 one time payment or $115/month (PER FAMILY) + $30 supply fee/child
